Ultrasound Africa is a voluntary provider of Continuous Professional Development programmes and training in ultrasound to members of professional bodies and teaching institutions that are involved in the field of Radiology and Imaging. Our CPD sessions and training sessions have impacted thousands of ultrasound practitioners since 2017.
Our ultrasound research and outreach programmes are aimed at supporting quality healthcare delivery and informing policy in mainly resource-limited settings in Africa. The idea of supporting good quality healthcare delivery in low and middle-income countries was birthed in 2017 by ultrasound practitioners in high-income settings but with a background of low resource settings. We train already qualified ultrasound practitioners in both basic and specialty sonography techniques and offer high-quality outreach ultrasound services voluntarily to low resource settings.
Our Vision is to be the premier CPD provider and support high-quality ultrasound Education and Research
Our Mission is to deliver professional development to members of professional ultrasound bodies and ultrasound teaching institutions through high-quality ultrasound education and research
